'The Woods - A Year and a Day' was one of the SW region's Year of the Artist activities at Ashton Court Visitor Centre in Bristol 2001. The result of a year long residency in a North Somerset woodland. An installation and event in the woods was also part of the project. The show was later exhibited at Hewlett Packard Invent Laboratories in Bristol with soundscapes developed to accompany the images in association with Armin Elsaesser, as part of a research project into interactive sound.

A smaller version of this show is being presented at the ICWS conference at Seattle in October 2002
